How to use Poundo Iyan

Traditionally you tear off a small piece, shape it with your fingers, without a knife or fork, dip it into the soup and swallow it without chewing.

1. Bring water to the boil.
2. Reduce the heat and add the flour gradually, stirring all the time to avoid lumps.
3. Stir firmly until you have a smooth, stretchy, firm paste.
4. If needed, adjust with a little hot water or more flour.
5. Serve hot with a soup.

Storage

Keep in a cool, dry place. After opening, keep the pack closed and protect from moisture.
